I.CNC folding machine overview
The multi-angle CNC folding machine is a special equipment designed for the metal sheet processing industry. It is suitable for the ridges, eaves, door openings, windows, terraces and other edging in steel structure buildings, as well as the folding of various components such as edge trimming and corner wrapping. It can also be used for the folding of metal sheets in other industries.This machine has the following characteristics:
The upper and lower clamps are hydraulically driven to clamp the plate; the unique parallelogram hinge mechanism realizes the turning of the plate to bend the plate, and the maximum folding angle can reach 125° (the minimum angle of the workpiece is 55°), without the use of molds, and the clamp can be used for 180° edge pressing.
It can complete the automatic working cycle of positioning, clamping, folding, and relaxation, and can also work manually.
The CNC numerical control system controls the rear stop positioning mechanism to achieve precise positioning of the plate.
The dedicated control software is used to realize the functions of human-computer dialogue programming, real-time monitoring of work, and production plan control.
The pressure compensation and load sensing hydraulic system are adopted.

III. Feature function description
The multi-angle CNC folding machine is a device developed for the steel structure industry to bend parts of various varieties, small batches, thin plates and long plates, and it has unique functions.
1. Folding method
General folding machines use upper and lower dies to fold the sheet to obtain the folding angle. Due to the limitation of the die, they can usually only bend at an angle of 0~90º (workpiece angle 180º~90º). The multi-angle folding machine uses hydraulically driven upper and lower clamps to clamp the sheet, and a unique parallelogram hinge mechanism to achieve plate turning to bend the sheet. The adoption of the new folding method expands the processing range of the machine, and can achieve folding at any angle of 0~125° (workpiece angle 180°~55°) without the use of dies, and can use upper and lower clamps to perform 180°folding.
2. Special control system and application software
The multi-angle CNC folding machine adopts an advanced CNC control system, which provides a human-machine dialogue interface for the operator. When programming, you only need to input the length and angle of each side according to the shape of the workpiece and specify the bending sequence. The software will automatically calculate the distance from the bending point to the positioning point and control the back stop device to be in place without any manual calculation. The system can realize dynamic monitoring of the working situation. The operator can observe the working situation of the machine very intuitively and issue relevant instructions to facilitate safe and correct operation of the machine. The system has a production planning function. The operator can prepare a production plan in advance, and the machine will complete it item by item according to the plan. The use of this system has improved the production automation level and production efficiency of the machine.
3. Machine safety features
The multi-angle bending machine has unique safety and emergency handling devices.
a) Two-position inching clamp clamping: To press the clamp down, the foot switch and the joystick must be used at the same time. Release the foot switch or operate the clamp during the clamp pressing process to stop the movement. When the clamp is about 12mm away from the entire clamping stroke, the clamp will stop. The foot pedal and the joystick must be released and then pressed down again.
b) Emergency stop pedal release function. There is a pedal that runs through the machine in front of the machine, which is easy for the operator to touch. Regardless of the inching or automatic state, once the foot pedal is touched, the upper clamp will immediately rise 50mm first. If it is touched for more than 3 seconds, the hydraulic station will also be shut down.
