PU (pu) sandwich panels are produced through a continuous process that involves several stages:
1. Uncoiling and Feeding: Steel or aluminum sheets are uncoiled and fed into the production line. These sheets will form the outer layers of the panel.
2. Roll Forming: The sheets pass through a roll forming machine to create the desired panel shape.
3. Preheating: The sheets are preheated to ensure proper adhesion with the foam core.
4. Foaming: pu foam is injected between the sheets. The foam is a mixture of pu prepolymer, polyol, and isocyanate, which expands and bonds with the metal sheets to form the core.
5. Curing and Cutting: The panel is then cured, cut to size, and cooled before being stacked for further use.
This process creates panels with excellent insulation, soundproofing, and structural properties, making them ideal for construction.
